Hungry?

Yes. We were.

The Scene

The Scene is a restaurant located inside the Monaco movie theater. Let me just say I LOVE their margaritas!

Carrot Cake

This was a carrot cake I made for Easter with some cream cheese frosting.

Easter Cupcakes

Buttercream and sugar sprinkles,  I love the bright colors!

Orange Julius

Yet another thing I grew up with in Chicago and didn't have here until a few months ago when Dairy Queen opened back up. Brought back a lot of memories!

Strawberry Lime Cupcake

Another picture of this yumminess!

Strawberry Lime Margarita Cupcakes

These were made for Cinco de Mayo at work. They did have a touch of tequila and were made with strawberry lime margarita mix. Perfect cupcake to drink!

White Castle

It is a sad fact that we do NOT have a White Castle in Decatur, AL. So when we drove to Chicago, we HAD to stop in. And yes, I heard the "Hallelujah Chorus".

Pane e Vino

There is a wonderful little restaurant tucked into the art museum in Huntsville called Pane e Vino. I chose this little beauty for our anniversary dinner. ;)

Banana Soft Serve

This just so happens to be frozen bananas blended with frozen mango in a food processor.  It tastes just like soft serve frozen yogurt. Delish!

Giant Cupcake

I made a chocolate cake topped with buttercream rosettes for my sister-in-law's birthday. Chocolate buttercream filling between layers and cupcake "wrapper".

Tomato Sandwich Day!!!

Seriously.  Who'da thought tomatoes on white bread slathered in mayo and sprinkled with salt and pepper be so delicious??? Courtesy of our small town Farmer's Market every July. :)

Beachy Cupcakes!

Made for a bridal shower...

Pearly Buttercream

Some cupcakes I made after decorating some with a beach theme. Just practicing my flowers!

My Manager's Wife is Evil

Margarita cupcakes. Need I say more?

Watermelon Fest!

Watermelon Fest is one of my favorite times to go to the farmer's market. Fill up on free watermelon on a hot day!

Sweet Pepper Poppers!

These amazing little nuggets of YUM were stuffed with 1/3 less fat cream cheese, Jimmy Dean® turkey sausage crumbles, and a pinch of finely shredded mozzarella. They are usually baked, but these were heated on the grill. I have to say they were amazing grilled. I just love bright, sweet peppers and they happen to be good for you! Yay!
